Home Office Weekly Tip...from my home office to yours!
Entrepreneurs often don't suffer from a lack of business ideas...
our problem is when to do it all and how to keep all these
ideas organized. In the past, I would get an idea and
often chase it down at that very moment. Not a very good
use of my time. You could get fancy tracking online systems
or a special "ideas" planner, but I have found that index cards
are magic for keeping my unfettered ideas from overrunning
my mind -- and desk. I simply have a box of these index cards
with dividers by month. When I get a light bulb moment I just
write it down on an index card and file it away to look into the following month.
Every month I take out my stack and peruse my ideas -- there they all are! Most get
tossed. But some little gems do get polished off and become new projects. ~ Marcia
