Free Giveaway Ideas for Your Home Business

















The first step involved in creating your free-giveaway deals with preparation. You
need to decide which format you are going to provide your free product in.

There are basically 6 different formats you can choose for your free-giveaway. You can
also combine a couple of the formats for more advanced free-giveaways but I would
recommend keeping it simple and using the combination formats for products that
you are going to sell.

Determining which format to use is dependent on several things:

o Your target group: what do they need and how do they like to receive information?

o Your objective: do you want something tangible to pass around?

o Your level of technology: do you have a website that you can post a link to or do
you have to send out hardcopies?

o Your money and time resources: how much time and money do you have to spend
on it?

o Your preferred method of communication: do you like to write or prefer speaking?

o Existing materials: are you going to transcribe an audio or video interview or do you
have articles you can bundle together for a free-giveaway?

Here's a brief explanation of the 6 different formats - two in audio/video and two in
written format:








1. Audio MP3 recording

* you can send out a link in an email or have the link reside on your website

* you can record one longer session or break it into 5 - 7 smaller ones and send out
over a one to two week period

2. Audio CD

* you can burn a CD and send out or hand out

3. Video MP3 recording

* you can send out a link in an email or have the link reside on your website

* you can record one longer session or break it into 5 - 7 smaller ones and send out
over a few weeks

4. Video CD

* you can burn a CD and send out or hand out

5. Written electronic

* you can send out a link in an email or have the link reside on your website to a PDF
document

6. Written hard copy

* you can print off copies and send out or hand out

Take some time to figure out which format you feel would be the easiest, quickest and
most affordable to do, as well as be the most valuable to your target group. Then mark
off some time in your calendar and go to it!
