Greetings...from my home office to yours!

Almost every business I know today has a Web presence.  The problem is that not
many home-based business people understand what that means. The Web can be a
confusing territory and if you don't understand it all, you certainly can't be faulted --
information about what you should -- or shouldn't -- do changes, almost daily.
There are some basics that have not changed, and that is the invaluable use of
content.  But how do you start?  This week's feature is by John Alexander.  If you
don't get his free SEO (site-engine-optimization) tips daily, you should! I certainly
have learned quite a bit from his Web wisdom.  Read his story here:

Keys to Branding Your Small Business

And, for this week's HOW profile meet...
Alyice Eldrich, the editor-in-chief of Dabbling Mum, who runs her freelance writing
and publishing business out of her home in South Dakota, who lets us in on her
secret to working from home:  A little secret to avoiding burnout: "…when I feel
burnt out and fed up, I don’t force myself to work unless I have a deadline. I actually
take the day off. I might just sit on the coach all day and read or watch television or
scrapbook or crochet. And that’s okay! We all need a break from time to time."
